Fees and Coverage

My rate for individuals is $150 for a 60 minute session. For couples, I charge $160 for a 60 minute session.

I am typically able to accommodate 75 minute sessions when requested and the fee is prorated to $188 for individuals or $200 for couples.

I accept payment by e-transfer (preferred) and credit card.

Free consultation session

It’s important to find a counsellor that’s a good match for you. That’s why I offer a 15 minute free consultation session by phone or zoom.

Insurance Coverage

Many extended health providers will cover counselling services with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please review your individual plan.

Counselling services can also be claimed as a tax-deductible medical expense.

BC Emergency Health Services: Critical Incident Stress

I offer Counselling services for paramedics and their families through the Critical Incident Stress program.

First Nations Health Authority

I am a registered to provide mental health benefits through the First Nations Health Authority.

Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)

I’m a registered provider with the CVAP, a program funded by the government of BC to assist victims of crime, as well as immediate family members and witnesses.

Cancellation Policy

Your session time is set aside just for you. If I’m not given adequate notice that you need to cancel an appointment then it can be hard to fill that space.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice I will charge you for the full price of the appointment. Exceptions can be made for emergency circumstances.
